Dave has worked in all musical genres typical for Saxophonists, predominantly Soul, R&B, Jazz, blues and for many years with DJs at events, weddings and parties, Ibiza/house Sax. 

Taking his first paying gigs as a teenager Dave has been playing the Saxophone ever since.
 
Buying a Sax aged 17, inspired by the soul, r'n'b and jazz music he grew up listening to Dave studied with
Norman Frost whose "big band" Dave was privileged to work with in his formative playing years.

Dave was further inspired some great Saxophonists of  his hometown Liverpool and the Merseyside area,
Freddie Smith, Phil Martin, Dave Edge, later Paul Owens with whom Dave performed extensively.
 
Moving on to study music at the prestigious Leed College of Music studying with the late great Phil Chapman 
and Manchesters Jazz guru, Mike Hall along the way.
